Etsy caps the Offsite Ads fee at $100 per individual order — regardless of how high the order value is. So on a $900 order with the 15% optional rate, the fee is $100 (not $135). The calculator applies this cap automatically whenever Offsite Ads are active.
If your Etsy shop earns $10,000 USD or more in the past 365 days, Etsy permanently enrolls you in Offsite Ads and reduces your rate to 12%. You cannot opt out once you cross this threshold. The calculator lets you toggle between optional (15%) and mandatory (12%) so you can model both scenarios.
