US Depop sellers pay zero platform commission since 2023 — only 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing. UK and EU sellers pay 10% on the full transaction plus 3.29% + £0.30. The calculator uses two completely separate formulas — not just different rates. A UK seller on a £50 sale pays £5 commission; a US seller pays zero.
Yes, and it's the most misunderstood fee in reselling. Poshmark charges exactly $2.95 flat on any sale under $15 — regardless of the price. On a $10 item that's 29.5%. On a $14.99 item it's still $2.95. At exactly $15.00 it switches to 20%. The calculator enforces this with an if/else — never a formula. This is why the Poshmark Fee Cliff Chart exists.
Vestiaire charges 12% commission with a £12/€12 minimum, plus 3% payment fee with a £3/€3 minimum — both applied independently. That's a £15 combined minimum, making Vestiaire uneconomical for items under approximately £125. Vinted charges sellers zero platform fees. The buyer pays a buyer protection fee on top of your listing price. As a seller, you receive 100% of your listed price. Your only cost is the shipping label, which Vinted deducts from your payout at discounted carrier rates — starting at £3.55 for up to 1 kg (Evri/InPost in the UK). This makes Vinted uniquely profitable for higher-priced items.
