The only offline calculator that shows your true net income after platform fees, withdrawal costs, and income tax — across Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer.com simultaneously. With a reverse calculator that tells you exactly what to charge.
| Gross Project Value | $1,500.00 | 100.0% |
| − Upwork Fee (10% per contract) | −$150.00 | 10.0% |
| − PayPal Withdrawal Fee | −$0.99 | 0.1% |
| − Self-Employment Tax (15.3%) | −$206.55 | 13.8% |
| − Income Tax (~25%) | −$285.62 | 19.0% |
| True Net Income | $856.84 | 57.1% |
Upwork’s fee is set per contract (0–15%), locked when you send the proposal; most pay ~10% — not a flat rate, and not tied to how much you’ve billed a client. Most calculators get this wrong. This one doesn’t.
Fiverr takes 20% flat on every order. Stack PayPal withdrawal fees and income tax on top, and a $500 project nets you less than $280. The tool shows you the exact number before you set your price.
On a $30 project, Freelancer.com’s 10% fee would be $3 — but the $5 minimum applies. That’s a 16.7% effective rate. Small projects cost more than you think.
